
Come down to The LAVA Center to tell true, personal stories about the disasters in your life! Trouble Mandeson and Nisse Greenberg host Beautiful Disasters, a place to share 5-7 minute true stories on stage of times from your life where you found something beautiful in your disasters. Or just a time in your life that something happened. The audience can find the beauty in it. And the disaster. This show we’re exploring medical disasters — so come on down with your stories of broken bones, and extended labors, and poisonous berries, and arduous hospital paperwork. Come down and tell the story of that time you broke out of the psych ward, or the time you ate too many carrots and turned a little orange, or the time you had to mend your daughter’s wound for the first time. Whatever happened to you we want to hear it!
There will be 6 names picked to tell stories, and those people will have 7 minutes to tell their stories. And we’ll try to have some snacks and drinks (non-alcoholic). The show is pay what you want. 🙂
