Playwrights are invited to gather to share short samples of their work, request readings of short pieces of work by others in the group, discuss topics of interest and importance to the playwriting community in general.
This series moves to every 2nd Tuesday, 7pm. The first few sessions will meet in person at The LAVA Center (we will try to be hybrid for those who want to join us on Zoom), then the sessions will move fully to Zoom for the winter. You can sign up at any point in the series.
These sessions are open to anyone interested, and are a great way to get involved in LAVA’s burgeoning theater scene. Regularly participating playwrights may have the opportunity to further develop and stage their work at The LAVA Center. (Note: Participating in the Playwrights’ Circle is currently the only way to be invited to LAVA Center programming.)
