“The LAVA Center at 324 Main St. is presenting a new event series called the Literary Open Bar for those who enjoy reading and writing.
“In this a loosely formatted discussion group, participants can read their own or another author’s work of any genre, discuss authors and their work, and inspire the work of those in attendance.
“The Literary Open Bar will be moderated by local author Michael Travisano.
“Meetings will take place at The LAVA Center on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month starting Oct. 9, from 2 to 4 p.m.”
