“According to a LAVA Center press release, this loosely formatted reading/discussion group moderated by author Michael Travisano includes, but is not limited to: readings of one’s own work or another author’s work of any genre; discussion of authors, their work, their books, and their relevance in general or to the individual; writing routines/rituals; exploring the philosophy of language; the creation of meaning; the vagaries of communication; and comparing the spoken word, the written word and what is heard.”
