Open Screen Online Film Festival

An online showcase of MA filmmaking talent from students to professionals and everyone in between.

July 11–25, The LAVA Center hosted the Open Screen Film Festival, a virtual showcase of local filmmaking talent, from students to professionals and everyone in between.

This festival functioned like an open mic, in that there was no competitive selection process—all appropriate films that were submitted were screened!

The festival featured three programs, each debuting on a Sunday afternoon and running continually from debut through the final day of the festival. Tickets were distributed via free online registration.
