Putting the “access” in “Local Access to Valley Arts”… Our programming has always been free or cheap. Recently, as the quality and quantity of our programming has gone up, we have regularly begun to ask for donations or or sell tickets on a sliding scale This keeps our space open and helps to pay artists and performers.
Our gallery/cafe hours are always free for you to come in and check out the exhibits. Other programming will fall under these pricing tiers:
Suggested Donation
We may offer a flat suggestion like $5, or a range like $5–10. No payment is required to enter the space and enjoy this programming. Give us a few bucks if you can; if not, no worries!
Sliding Scale
Some programming costs more money and time to put on than others. For this type of programming, we charge a sliding scale-based fee. Our sliding scale is on an honor system—we do not require any proof of income or anything like that—simply pay what you can within the range requested.
Card to Culture
We are proud to participate in the Card to Culture program, a collaboration between Mass Cultural Council and the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Nutrition Program, and the Massachusetts Health Connector, by breaking down the financial barriers to cultural programming. See the complete list of participating organizations offering EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare discounts.
Please contact us if you are eligible for Card to Culture and need to reserve seats at a ticketed event and cannot afford our minimum. We are always happy to accommodate you!
