November 30, 2022 //  by LAVA

As part of the monthly Writers Read series organized by Lindy Whiton, The LAVA Center at 324 Main St. will share the work of Jovonna Van Pelt, Brian Mooney and Wilson Roberts on Wednesday, Dec. 14, at 7 p.m.

Van Pelt is a Greenfield-based writer who has retired from the worlds of puppetry and commerce. She is the author of “Unrelated Questions,” a book of poetry from Human Error Publishing, and an upcoming collection of short stories, “Merry and Bright: Christmas Memories.”

Mooney has published essays, fiction and poetry in several literary journals including Alaska Quarterly Review. He is the creator of the popular Storymatic family of creative prompts and games.

Roberts is a longtime professor of English and poetry at Greenfield Community College, author of several mysteries and a well-loved member of the community.

There will be a short question-and-answer period at the end. The event is free to attend, though donations to The LAVA Center are appreciated.
